Bonjour!

Hello visitor, thanks for coming to my site! You’re probably wondering about my name(s). My birth name is Sarah Virginia Smith and many people call me Sarah Smith. However, there are a lot of Sarah Smiths walking around this earth. So if you came here because you follow me on social media or were looking into great ship names, SS Virginia is another name I go by. SS Virginia sounds like a ship and apparently once was a notable one! A little history lesson:

S.S. Virginia was the first ship built from the keel up by Welding Shipyards for National Bulk Carriers. She had the monumental misfortune to have been sunk by U-507 in the Gulf of Mexico on May 12, 1942, less than a year after her construction.

(Let’s hope that’s not indicative to my acting career.)  Now you know a lot about my names AND history! I also love stamps. What a wild ride this has become.

Notable middle school theater moment:

I was type cast as Charlie Brown’s crush, the little red-haired girl, from You’re A Good Man Charlie Brown. My shining moment was singing the lyric, “Happiness is five different crayons!” I’ve done other things since then, but the middle school years need the love.

Notable famous person I've met:

Henry Winkler told me I was delightful and kissed me on the cheek goodbye after a conversation about his book series. He’s a class act.
